Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer, Runtown alongside popular supermodel and girlfriend, Adut Akech are part of the stars featured in the new Versace Holiday 2020 Campaign. The campaign features the duo sporting the brand’s latest products which includes a classic silk print set, the Versace Virtus bag and many more.
According to Versace,

Rahama Sadau’s Rumored Death Sentence
Few days after receiving backlash from the Islamic community over a backless dress picture she posted, Rahama Sadau was rumoured to be charged with a death sentence. This was after the actress was set to appear in a sharia court in Kaduna under strict police investigation.
However, the actress came out to clear and debunk all death sentence claims through her social media platforms.

Cardi B Receives Backlash Over Shoot Pose
Cardi B is an American rapper, songwriter and actress and she recently partnered with Reebok to launch her first-ever footwear collection. During the Reebok shoot however, for one of he looks, Cardi B appeared wearing a red gown with multiple arms extending from her body, and she was greatly accused for cultural appropriation.
Apparently, the pose resembled that of an Hindu goddess and some fans were enraged that the rapper was using their religion as a way to promote something. Cardi B later took to her social media page to apologise, and she added this in the caption,
“Sorry guys. I don’t mean to offend or disrespect anybody’s culture. I can’t change the past, but I’ll be more cautious for the future.”

Lawsuit Against Sam Adeyemi, Wizkid And Others By Nigerian Human Right Activist Regarding #ENDSARS
Following the #ENDSARS protest which started a few weeks ago, a Nigerian human activist, Kenechukwu Okeke caught the eye of many users on social media, especially Twitter, when he filed a lawsuit against some popular protesters.
Having initiated criminal proceedings against the #EndSARS riots promoters at exactly 1052hrs WAT, 09/11/2020, we shall ensure that same is diligently prosecuted in the interest of defence, public safety and public order.

In the lawsuit, Okeke asked that the 50 defendants, some of which are Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Wizkid, and Davido, be brought to justice for allegedly destroying his properties.
This lawsuit was met with a matched energy by social media users as the activist received backlash.
