I know y’all are over me lol but #BEYLLOWEEN is finally here! I wanted to do something different this year for Halloween and pay tribute to someone that I admire and respect so much—BEYONCE! This project was incredibly stressful to make but so much fun! I am NOT a dancer by any means—my friends always clown me for it lolll But I wanted to apply Beyoncé’s infamous work ethic to this project and see how far I could push myself. I could not have done this without the help of @kany16 teaching a non dancer all of this choreography. She’s the real MVP! And special thanks to my director and friend @mttalves who helped bring this vision to life from beginning to end. I couldn’t have done it without you ☺️ Everyone who was apart of this worked so hard and I appreciate you all so much!! I hope you all enjoy!

With identical replicas of Beyoncé’s music videos over the years, including Crazy In Love, Already, and Single Ladies amongst others, this project was definitely a hit!

#SayNoToSocialMediaBill

On different social media platforms this week, Nigerians expressed their displeasure over the looming social media bill which is said to be designed to regulate actions on social media.

By trending the #SayNoToSocialMediaBill on Twitter, users created awareness especially for people who weren’t aware that this particular bill was also proposed a few years back. According to Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture in Nigeria,

“We must regulate social media in a manner that it doesn’t become a purveyor of fake news and hate speech.”

Rahama Sadau Condemned Over ‘Indecent’ Dressing

Nigerian actress, Rahama Sadau was born and raised in Kaduna and she is popularly known for the Northern roles she plays in numerous Nollywood shows and movies, including Up North.

On Monday, she took to her social media pages to post a glamorous picture of her in a stylishly blended dress with dramatic sleeves and an open back.

However, this picture didn’t seat well with many people as they felt it was offensive to the conservative Northern Nigerian Society and to Islam, which is Rahama’s religion. After much backlash, the actress deleted the pictures from her pages and then apologised for her actions.

Looks From Toke Makinwa’s Birthday

Popular on-air personality and celebrity, Toke Makinwa celebrated her 36th birthday and she had a birthday soiree in her house that was amazing, at least from pictures and videos.

Many celebrities including Arese Ugwu, the creative director of the Smart Money Woman Series, Tola Odunsi, and Taymesan were in attendance.

Citation Movie Premiere

Citation is a Nigerian movie which focuses mainly on the sexual-based issues people go through, and it is set to be released officially on Netflix on November 6.

The movie features Temi Otedola, daughter of oil mogul Femi Otedola who made her acting debut, Ini Edo, Dr. Mrs Ibukun Awosika, and a whole lot of industry experts. The premiere of the thought-provoking movie was all shades of lit as these stars and more, as well as sponsors lit Terra Kulture for a night of music, cocktails and fun!

Beyoncé rocked bespoke outfits from celebrity fashion designers such as Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Burberry and many more, and even sported one of the outfits from the recently launched Ivy Park x Adidas collection.

“My vision for the Ivy Park x Adidas collection is that it is fun, functional and fashionable, with athletic options that you can wear to the gym, then to the night club, from playing basketball to vogueing at the balls. The goal is to be infinitely inclusive from style to size.” – Beyoncé.
