This week was one with many fashion stories that made the headlines, and while some were amazing and spectacular to note, some were just simply hideous. Our Social Media Roundup column is designed to bring you all the hot tea you might have missed on different social media platforms this week.
BBNaija Superhero-Themed Saturday Night Party
The popular reality show, Big Brother Naija which commenced on the 19th of July has featured different Saturday night parties with different themes. The last Saturday Night party was a superhero-themed one, and with different imitations of actual superheroes, the BBNaija Lockdown housemates looked like superheroes in their way.
One of the outfits that stood out for us, and almost everyone that follows the reality show, was the outfit worn by Laycon, a BBNaija housemate and artiste. The outfit, shown above, was probably meant to be an imitation of the popular Marvel character, Deadpool, but instead, the outfit was dead and found in a pool of its blood.
Erica, another housemate in the reality show, dressed up looking similar to the Marvel fictional character, Mystique who is recognised by her shapeshifting, summery body. Erica’s outfit featured a shimmery and shiny jumpsuit, a dark blue cape and gold face mask.
With a shiny little star on a black long-sleeved top and a blue cape, Ozo’s outfit was probably a mix of popular Captain America and Superman. What his superhero name is, however, is what we don’t know.
