In the early hours of Friday, a short while after Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter publicly lent his voice to the #ENDSARS movement, the hashtag was branded with its very own emoji to show solidarity for Nigerian youths.

The emoji which is simply a tight fist raised high in the air, designed with the national colours, green and white, is a symbol to show full support to the protest. Many users were ecstatic about the symbol as it is a sign that the movement is gaining grounds worldwide.

An intriguing picture of the activist surfaced on the internet where her fist was held up tightly in the air, and it sparked a lot of reactions from people. This picture caused many to name her Nigeria’s personal Statue of Liberty, and a graphic effects were added to the photo to corroborate this.

Banjo, The #ENDSARS Flagbearer
One of the people who have also been at the forefront of the #ENDSARS movement is Banjo, popularly known as flag boy. His signature is flying a flag which consists of three parts- one which says, “Reform The Police”, another which says, “END SARS”, and the last which is the Nigerian flag.
Located in Lagos state, Banjo the Flagbearer, during these peaceful protests, stands on elevated platforms, such as poles or trailer, and dangles the flag from them.
