As you may already know, influencer marketing is one of the ways a brand, including fashion brands, gets to promote their products and services. And most times, depending on the popularity of the influencer, it transcends to a rapid increase in sales for the brand.
The BBNaija Season 5 housemates are now the latest social media influencers as they garnered numerous fans and followers on their social media pages whilst in the house. Several of them have also signed deals with fashion designers or retailers, hair extension brands, as well as beauty or skincare brands.
Here are some of the fashion brands they have signed deals with.
Payporte
Payporte, as you may already know, is an e-commerce retail company that provides quality, affordable products and services for their customers. They offer a range of fashion items including tops, dresses, swimwear, denims, accessories and many more while acknowledging the diversity of every individual.
The retail company signed both TolaniBaj and Nengi from the reality TV show and has since then been promoted by the housemates. Due to the diversity in styles of the two housemates, TolaniBaj mainly rocks short dresses, loungewear, tops and shirts, while Nengi on the other hand sports more of party wears like bodycon jumpsuits and the likes.

The skincare brand signed both Dorathy and Prince of the reality TV show to create more awareness for the brand, as well as attract more customers. And if the product receipts and pictures from fans are things to bank on, then we must say, this strategy is working well for the brand!

The brand signed Erica a few weeks after she left the house, and her influence definitely brought in a lot of customers. Many orders came in right after the announcement, and this resulted in the crashing of their website. The issue has been fixed, however, and more orders still troop in daily.
The former housemate, Erica, has rocked different weaves and wigs by the brand, such as a bright red wavy wig, medium-length bangs, straight ponytails and lots more.
Since they signed the housemates, these brands have reported an increase in their sales which can be accredited to the number of fans each of the housemate directly pulls to patronise the brands.
The housemates have also had direct collaborations with fashion designers and brand, such as Erica and Lisa Folawiyo, and you can read all about it here.
