A jumpsuit is a piece of clothing that has its top and trouser part made into one. They can come in different colours, different sleeves and necklines but one thing remains the same, the top stays attached to the trouser. Quite a number of models and fashionistas were spotted in jumpsuits this week, everyone pairing their look with the hair and footwear of their choice.
Halter Neckline Dresses
A halterneck dress is one of the most comfortable pieces to wear, especially on a humid day. Halterneck is a style of women’s clothing with a strap that runs from the front of the garment and around the back of the neck. It generally leaves the upper back uncovered.
Halterneck is commonly used for bikini wear but are however suitable for tops, dresses and jumpsuits. It is great for crocheted wears too!

Palazzos are trousers with loose ends. Wearing a palazzo allows your skin to breathe as air can pass through it easily. It would be futile to argue that this week wasn’t hot.
Because of the temperature of the environment, a sizeable number of working class women went to work in palazzos.
As mentioned earlier, palazzos are a healthy choice to let your skin breathe, however while buying or sewing palazzos, make sure they are the right style and size for you. Also ensure to pair with the right acccesories so as not to look funny in it.
Tea Length Dresses
Workwear looks this week was a beautiful array of tea length dresses and heels. Looking all modest and professional, lots of entrepreneurs on social media looked comfortable and smart in their outfits.
Abimbola Craig, producer at Ndani TV was one of the many women we couldn’t ignore. Looking chic in her dress with a matching headband, she looked strong and intentional.
Outfits With Trains
For the premiere of Coming 2 Africa and the celebration of the International Women’s Day, women were spotted with outfits with trains. Attached to jumpsuits, palazzos and trousers, the trains flowed regally. Most of these outfits were either full African fabrics or plain materials with African fabrics as the train.
It is safe to say, that this look was birthed to showcase the African cultures and portray women in their esteemed position as royalty. Properly adorned with the right acccesories, every African woman who rocked this look could not be ignored.
