Afterwards, she decided to practice fashion designing fully. Since she started, Aisha has bagged the Glitz Style Awards African Designer of the year twice in a row, amongst many other awards.
The Christie Brown Brand
The Christie Brown brand caters for women of different styles and backgrounds, and is not limited to body type or physique. Designers, tailors and artisans working with the brand have mastered the art of perfectly blending African wax prints with different materials ranging from silk to velvet among others.

Christie Brown pieces have been worn by different women, both locally and interntionally. Tina Knowles, Beyonce Knowles and, Tiwa Savage are some of the famous names that have worn various pieces by Christie Brown. Ghanian fashion to the world, right ?
What inspires the looks in her collection, Who is the Christie Brown woman?
For Aisha, women in Christie Brown should be perceived as bold and confident. One of her collections, AW’17 FEMINIST seeks to correct and some traditional stereotypes people have on the roles of women in the society and, how women should not hold important political positions in the society.
The looks in the collection have a powerful feel to them. The Christie Brown woman is definitely a daring one.
Her collection, Our Woman SS19, with a variety of looks ranging from puffed jackets to pencil skirts to dresses, and blazers, all had the common infusion of African wax prints, popularly known as Ankara, while still retaining the modern and contemporary look.
