As a startup or small scale entrepreneur, it is important to apply for opportunities and grants that would enable your brand to grow. Apart from the fact that it would help your brand reach its target audience faster, it would also help position your brand for global opportunities.

The Impact Hub recently launched the applications for their New Economy Booster Program 2020 to support impact-driven entrepreneurs with both advanced and early-stage ventures, startups, or initiatives both in Nigeria and Ghana. Here’s all you need to know about the application process.

But first, what’s Impact Hub about?

Impact Hub is a global network focused on building communities for impact at scale. With over 100 communities of more than 16,000 impact-driven entrepreneurs across the continents, Impact Hub has positioned themselves to be one of the world’s largest communities and accelerators for positive change.

About a month ago, when the initial launch of the program was announced, various experts and business luminaries came together at the event to provide attendees with deep business knowledge and insights, which was indeed a snippet of what was to come.

Just like Kristin Wilson, the innovation lead of Impact Hub shared,

“This event is just a snippet of what is to come. With the New Economy Booster Program, entrepreneurs get access to one-on-one mentorship with leaders in various sectors including the creative industry, health, even agriculture.”

The New Economy Booster Program comes with a lot of benefits for the selected entrepreneurs. Those selected to be a part of the program get a chance to meet with potential investors for their businesses, facilitated introductions to fundraising opportunities, as well as receiving senior expert advisory and consulting services.

That’s not all.

Selected applicants also get access to partnership building services, business coaching, peer support from other participants and many more.

So, how is the whole application process like?

How To Apply For The New Economy Booster Program 2020

Interested applicants would have to first to go to the official website for Impact Hub where the application link is.

The first step is to fill out the fields that request for your first and last name, as well as your personal email. Then, details about your brand, such as the name, number, link to your website or social media profile and registered business address would have to be provided.

In a bid to get familiar with the brand owner, other personal information such as age, gender, state of origin and the highest level of education acquired would have to be provided as well.

As a fashion brand owner in the creative sector who should be impact-driven, you would be required to share how your brand is contributing to the regeneration of the economy post-COVID.

Questions around the financing and revenue of the business would also have to be answered, as well as the number of staff or volunteers the brand has. Details of the business model, target market or audience, and uniqueness from the competition would have to be shared.

Basically, to apply for the New Economy Booster Program 2020, you need to be an entrepreneur that envisions and drive impact, while addressing growth challenges in your brand.

Note that the applications for the Impact Hub New Economy Booster 2020 will close on October 9, and you can click here to register for the program.
