Our Style Of The Moment column is designed to keep you updated on the latest styles, so you would not be caught slacking. So, let’s check out how people are rocking the shift dress and many others to various occasions.
One-Part Ruched Dress
As you may already know, a ruched dress is one that has an overlay of fabric strips that are either pleated, fluted or gathered to create a ripple-like effect. Ruched dresses are typically worn for casual outings like parties, picnics and so on, especially when they are made with soft-flowing fabrics.
A one-part ruched dress consists of the ruched style on one half of the dress and another style, such as a straight one, like in the image above. This style is unique and different as it involves the combination of two contrasting styles.
Pleated High Neck Collar
A high neckline or collar is one that sits at the nape of the neck and extends to the top of the neck. Unlike a typical turtle neck which is a round collar that folds over itself and covers the neck, the high neck collar simply sits high or close against the neck.
This collar style can be infused in a wide range of outfits, ranging from casual to traditional outfits. Just like in the image above, the high neck collar, with a bunch of other styles, was used to create a fabulous outfit design for a typical owambe or party.
Traditional Two-Piece Infused With Ruffled Pleats
In this part of the world, bespoke men’s fashion mainly consists of traditional two-pieces which are then tweaked and infused with a range of styles and designs.

Infusing ruffles and pleats in the regular traditional two-piece, just like in the image above adds a bit more flare to the otherwise basic outfit. Also, the ruffled pleats could cover a larger base depending on what the customer prefers or the creativity of the fashion designer.
Shift Dress
A shift dress is one in which the cloth falls straight from the shoulders and has darts around the bust. Typically, a shift dress is sleeveless, however, it can be designed with a cap sleeve, short sleeve, or even an off-shoulder.

One thing to love about the shift dress style is how comfortable it is, allowing women to move around freely without constraints.
Skirt-Like Playsuit
A playsuit is a shorter version of the jumpsuit, which is a mix of a top and trousers. The skirt-like playsuit is designed such that it appears as a skirt but is indeed a playsuit.

Just like in the image above, the design appears like an asymmetrical sleeveless dress, but, is a playsuit, and that’s one of the reasons why we love them.
