Every entrepreneur knows that social media is a game-changer when it comes to running a business. Through social media, you get to reach audiences that would otherwise have been out of your reach or even difficult to get to.

But, as powerful as social media is, if you don’t know the rules of using it, you will eventually get tired and be tempted to abandon it. One of such rules is knowing the right times to put up posts to get the best reach for your fashion brand.

Recently, research was done by the team at Blog2Social to find out the best times for posting on social media. Based on data collected from over 60,000 businesses and bloggers worldwide, they came up with the best times to post on 9 social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google My Business.

Why is it Important to Know These Best times?

1. Better Scheduling

Every minute, someone is posting one thing or the other on social media. It is so easy for your posts to get lost in the myriad of posts that others put up on your chosen social media platform and never be seen by your target audience.

When you know what times are best for you to post, you can schedule your posts better and make social media management easier for yourself.

2. Wider Reach

If no one sees your posts, what is the use of them? When you know the times your target audience are most active on social media, it is easier to get them to see your posts.

Knowing the times when most of your audience will be online helps you reach them better. When you post at the right time, the chances that a good majority of your audience will see what you post are great.

3. Increased Engagement

With more people seeing your posts comes a greater engagement with them. It is just more likely that people will engage with your posts when you put them up at a time they are online.

Your posts will most likely receive more likes, comments, and shares.

4. More Sales

With your posts getting more engagement by people that know and love your fashion brand, the more likely it is that they will check out your page and maybe buy a thing or two. Sales, no matter how large or great the order is, are good for your brand.

5. Top of Mind Effect

Even if none of your target audience visits your page on seeing your posts, your brand will become engrained in their mind. Since they see your posts often, it is likely that when they need something that you sell, your brand will come to their minds faster than any other brands will.

Knowing these posting hours can be very beneficial for your fashion brand as they take a lot of marketing stress off you. With the right communication, in terms of brand story attached to your posts, putting content up on social media platforms at the right times will steadily help your business grow.

It is important, however, to note that this research and infographic are only a starting point to guide your posting times. They are not prescriptive, but only work to help you better time your posts.

On your own, you must observe your audience and know what times exactly most of them are online so you know when to put your posts up.
