There’s more to fashion designing than just having fashion consultations, taking measurements, sewing outfits, and the likes. Fashion designers have to put a lot into their products in order to give their clients utmost satisfaction.
Getting fashion inspiration and ensuring to get the right materials for each outfit, amongst others are some of the things fashion designers have to do behind the scenes.
We spoke to a few fashion designers on their top fashion applications, and here’s what they had to share;
Victoria Oyeboade, the creative director of Megan Couture, a fashion brand that deals with handmade quality apparels for women shared this with us,
“For me, my preferable applications would be Instagram, Whatsapp, Youtube and Pinterest. I use Pinterest and Youtube for fashion inspiration, while Instagram and Whatsapp for publicity and reaching out to clients.”
Mojoyin Ojikutu, the creative director of Moijoiyee Clothings, a brand that deals with both male and female wears had this to say,
“Google is my ultimate best friend when it comes to fashion designing, everything I need is just there. But my other go-to applications are Instagram, Whatsapp and Pinterest”
We also spoke to Akinyemi Olanike, the creative director of SnSbyLanike, which is a fashion brand that deals in fashion consultancy, bespoke tailored outfits, as well as custom made outfits, and she shared this with us,
“The applications I use the most as regards my fashion designing have to be Corel Draw, Canva, Instagram and Photogrid. I use most of these applications for anything graphics-related post, as well as for publicity.
Adedoyin Adenike, the creative director of Vetir By Mago clothing brand, who deals in women’s bespoke and ready-to-wear pieces shared this with us,
