Always one to come with the extra, she accessorised her look with gold drop earrings, matching bracelets, rings embedded with dark blue stones, and a multi-coloured clutch purse. She complimented the look with bold makeup and a neat updo.
Ini Edo defined the ‘long and short’ gown
Who says your evening wear has to be long or short when you can have a mix of both? Actress Ini Edo rocked a beautiful asymmetric hemline evening gown with lots of shimmer and shine. Her gorgeous outfit featured heavy silver beading from top to bottom with three layers of beaded fringes, a high neckline and an asymmetric hemline.
Keeping things stylish, she accessorised with black strappy heels, silver drop earrings, silver bracelets, and a silver ring. She had her hair slicked back neatly and finished off with flawless chocolatey nude makeup.
Funke Akindele’s stunning black gown
Looking absolutely gorgeous in a black evening gown is Funke Akindele. Her stunning number featured a v-neckline, thigh-high slit, and mismatched long sleeves. Adding more creativity to the already beautiful outfit, it boasted heavy embroidery down across its left side, feathers, and a simple train.
Topping things off, she sported silver heel sandals and silver drop earrings. She kept her hair in a low bun and her makeup nude.
Mercy Johnson black evening wear look
Mercy Johnson proved in every way that black is beautiful and an ideal pick for evening wear in a floor-length long-sleeved outfit. Her outfit featured a high neckline and was decorated with gold applique across the top half of the outfit and right sleeve. Although simple, her outfit spoke elegance to the core.
Keeping things simple and elegant, she accessorised with dropping gold earrings and a red clutch purse. She also sported long wavy hair and fresh makeup.
Mimi Yina’s glittery red killer jumpsuit
Stepping out of the box and into something unconventional for evening wear was stylist and personal shopper Mimi Yina. The fashionista rocked a glittery red jumpsuit with a difference. Her long-sleeved outfit featured a plunging neckline, wide legs, and bold feather addition to one shoulder.
To go with her outfit, she sported dropping silver earrings and a small PVC handbag. Her make-up was fresh and simple.
Ufuoma McDermott’s evening wear is a shimmering blue gown
Ufuoma McDermott is not to be left out of the evening gown frenzy as she has been spotted in a shimmering blue gown. Her long-sleeved sequined outfit featured a Queen Anne neckline, thigh-high slit and a drape by the side.
Simple yet stylish, she accessorised with a nude clutch purse and heels. Throwing red lipstick into the mix, her makeup was bright and her hair packed up to one side in a giant braid.
Lucy Edet’s glamorous black gown
Evening gowns can also be big and glamorous and Lucy Edet showed that to us. The on-air personality looked highly glamorous in an all-black outfit featuring lace at its top half and plain fabric at the bottom half of it. The dress was made bigger and bolder with puff sleeves and a very full skirt.
She finished off this beautiful black look with long black lace gloves, gold heels and minimal jewellery. Bringing a touch of colour to her appearance, she matched her outfit with red hair and mellow makeup.
Black ensemble ‘evening wear’ look by Kate Henshaw
Actress and fitness trainer Kate Henshaw also brought a whole new idea to the evening wear space with a stylish black ensemble. Her unique ensemble featured a black lace blouse with big puff sleeves and black pants featuring leopard print on one leg.
She topped off the look with a black hat, red heels, and silver drop earrings. Although quite unconventional, this look did wonders for her.
