Popular singer and songwriter, Burna Boy dubbed The African Giant recently bagged a Grammy nomination for the World Music Album and this is indeed very commendable. Making this the second time in a row, this nomination has brought another shot at bringing home the much-coveted award.

2020 Grammys
Styled by his sister, Ronami Ogulu, Burna Boy channelled his African Giant status for the 2020 Grammy Awards show. He was seen rocking a regal outfit from Tokyo James’s Men AW2020 Collection.
The two-piece suit which had unique prints and patterns were complimented by a crisp white shirt and a neck chain with Fela’s image in place of a tie. He added more flare to the entire look with his silver grills and neatly plaited cornrows.
2020 Brit Awards
The Brit Awards is an annual pop music award ceremony that celebrates some of UK’s finest artists. The 2020 Brit Awards was held at the O2 Arena in London, and the African Giant received a Platinum plaque for taking part in UK rapper, Stormzy’s single ‘Own It’.
For the red carpet event, the Afro-fusion pioneer sported a black suit and a sky blue turtle neck top to match. He also completed this look with a pair of black boots and a turquoise blue aquamarine coat that was indeed eye-catching.
Burna Boy x Boohooman
Boohooman is a men’s fashion brand that deals mostly in clothing, footwear and accessories for their customers, and they collaborated with Burna Boy in September to launch a new collection. The collection was co-designed and executed by Burna Boy over virtual meetings and he intended to bring a strong, cultural reference of the Nigerian heritage in streetwear.

Burna Boy In GQ Style Magazine
Earlier this year, the African Giant also featured in GQ Style Magazine’s Spring/Summer 2020. For the magazine feature, he rocked 9 different looks from top designers such as Louis Vuitton, Pyer Moss, Issey Miyake and many more.
